Embedded Analytics

An extension of your team, delivered by SPC.

A dedicated analytical resource supporting the practice or a defined client portfolio: reporting, forecasting, commercial analysis and KPI development.

From approximately £2,500/month. Indicative starting points. Final pricing depends on analytical scope, data complexity and required capacity.

The first 90 days

Embedded means a repeating rhythm behind the practice, not a project that ends when a file is emailed.

  1. Stage 1

    Days 1 to 15

Agree the clients in scope, the definitions the accountants already use, and the questions the next three management meetings must answer. No dashboard until that is written down.

  2. Stage 2

    Days 16 to 45

Build the first cut: customer and product contribution, a 90-day cash view, actual versus budget with a proper bridge. The partner reviews it as if it were going to the client.

  3. Stage 3

    Days 46 to 90

The pack repeats on the same timetable as the accounts. Forecast and commentary sit beside the numbers. Knowledge stays with the practice, not in one person's laptop.

What embedded means on a Tuesday

Named counterpart

Your partners deal with one SPC lead. They do not manage a bench of freelancers or a ticket queue.

Sits behind your brand

White-label by default. Files, dashboards and emails can go out as the practice. Co-branded only if you want it.

Portfolio, not a one-off model

The same definitions and calendar can cover several SME clients. That is how the economics work for a firm that does not want a department.

The accountant stays the adviser

SPC does not take the client meeting unless you ask. The insight is written so your team can stand it up.

Who this is for

  • Outsourced finance or virtual CFO teams that are being asked for forecasts and commercial insight
  • A portfolio of SME clients with similar reporting needs
  • Practices that want continuity, not a sequence of one-off models

Included capacity

  • Power BI, SQL and data analysis
  • Forecasting and management information
  • KPI design
  • Commercial analysis alongside the finance team

Choose this instead of the Desk when

The same clients will need a forecast, a contribution view and a commentary every month. You want continuity of definitions. You do not yet need a multi-disciplinary pod with data engineering and automation sitting alongside FP&A.

If the work is occasional, start with the Analytics Desk. If you are productising insight across many clients and need analysis, modelling and data preparation together, that is the Decision Intelligence Pod.

Want a repeating analytical rhythm behind the practice?

Pick one portfolio, or one outsourced-finance book. We will agree the questions, the calendar and the brand the client sees.
